Most people think of bulbs in terms of a succession of spring flowering snowdrops, crocus, daffodils and tulips, but in fact there are so many more bulbs that can be easily grown to provide colour, scent and structure for 12 months of the year. Fiona will share her extensive plant knowledge to help you inject a bit of a "wow" factor into your garden.Views: 37 | Enquiries: 0
Fiona is the owner and designer of Green Island Gardens in Ardleigh near Colchester in Essex. Previously an international golfer, the mother of 6 now works as freelance garden designer, a speaker and runs courses for horticultural societies, trains horticultural apprentices as well as running the gardens. She writes a weekly gardening column in the Gazette and Echo. Having taken up golf again after a 30 year break, she still holds a handicap of + 1. 2017 was a successful golfing season when she won the Suffolk ladies stroke play as well as the English ladies senior title and was selected to play for England in the European Team Championships in Slovakia and Home Internationals. Sadly injury to both elbows has curtailed golf and gardening for the last 6 months and Fiona has increased her design courses and speaker roles.
