A dramatised reading of “Sikes and Nancy” from Dicken’s novel “Oliver Twist”. It was the last reading Dickens was to include in his repertoire of Public Readings, and many believe the physical exertion of performing it led to his early demise.

I took early retirement in 2010, having previously spent a career in IT, Quality Assurance and Process Improvement, latterly with Vodafone UK at their headquarters in Newbury, Berkshire. I have subsequently taken up a second career as a public speaker/performer, and have now delivered over 800 talks/performances.
