Details of talks given by Michael Dix
I am a retired primary school headteacher who spent 37 years in primary schools, the last 18 as a headteacher of schools in Leicestershire and the city of Leicester.
Missing my daily opportunity to tell stories to children, I decided to go into public speaking and I have now given talks to a number of different audiences.
I have a fascination with history, which I enjoy researching, writing and speaking about. I also have a music degree and have composed for schools and local groups throughout my career.
I am listed on the Leicestershire and Rutland Women's Institute list of speakers.
I am also a guide at the Bosworth Battlefield Centre.
I am based in Hinckley, Leicestershire and will travel a maximum of 40 miles one way.
